This is awesome news. It does not a retheme. Now is the Universe of Energy change to Galaxy of the Guardians going to happen...that rumor I have read but hope it does not come true??

GOTG would have been so disappointing. I hope they keep it as Twilight Zone. It works beautifully. Why spend a lot of money on something that works? There are definitely better places to spend the money.

It's just because Disney wants marvel in their theme parks. Changing an existing attraction helps save money and gets the property into the parks faster. Disney did not lose the rights to the twilight zone.

Spirit is the one who said he believes Chapek is lying. Last from Martin said it's still coming to Epcot. Right now I'm believing Martin in where guardians is going.

I agree. I do think Marvel ends up in Epcot. I wonder though if all the smoke on ToT means some type of retheme later...not GotG?

Possibly. Chapek mentioned S.E.A coming to Disney parks around the globe. The Tokyo tower has the S.E.A component.

More than that - they want a Marvel "land" at DCA. The intention is an additional Marvel ride and themed M&G - the change is just a jump start on that.

The pressure for Marvel is less in Florida because of Universals Marvel Land. Even if they make a GotG ride somewhere - they will be limited as to what else they can put in as well.
