DHS to Typhoon Lagoon and Back Again

Is there an easy way (using free Disney transportation) to move between DHS and TL?

We are considering the following for a day next month:

- DHS at park opening for an hour or so
- head to Typhoon Lagoon for about 4 hours then
- head back to DHS

In my head this would require 3 buses each way. Is this correct?

E.g. Bus to a resort then bus to Disney Springs then bus to TL?

Just thinking the only option that might cut out 1 bus is to head to one of the All Stars resorts as I believe they have direct transportation to TL.

Any suggestions?

No.

Yes, it would.

Nope. They used to have buses to BB, maybe they still do, but not to TL.

Any suggestions?

You could walk to BW, but on average it wouldn't save much time, if any.

Or you could take a bus to the Congress Park stop at SSR and walk to DS.

The best solution would be Uber or Lyft. It would probably be under $10 one way.

Either take Uber or Lyft or rethink your plans. As is, you're looking at a minimum of 3 hours of transportation (and probably more) -- that's a huge chunk of the day.

Thanks! Will give this more thought. We could easily skip the morning DHS portion and just go to TL then to DHS for afternoon and evening. Thinking that will be the better way to go. Thanks so much for your input @joelkfla and @Alesia.

I just did a fare estimator and an Uber is $6.50 from DHS to Typhoon Lagoon. Well worth it in my opinion!

Yes! It is SUPER easy. Download the app, set up an account with a credit card, and you are good to go. I've never waited more than 5 min for an Uber in Disney.
