DHS to get 25th celebration plus hat removal!!

See I like the hat just not the placement I would do one of the following!

1. Move it infront of the animation building to make it part of the entrance.
2. Move it pusher the entrance TP DHS
3. Move it to art of animation resort
4. Move it to DTD

5. Move it into the Seven Seas Lagoon

Seriously... I'm frightened more by the people in here saying they miss the Wand on SSE than those defending the Hat.

I'd say put it out front where they normally put the Christmas tree

I haven't been to MGM...er...DHS... during Christmas since the Hat, but I do remember the Tree at one time being placed in the middle of the courtyard by the GMRCT, where the Hat now stands. Where do they put it now that the central space is wasted with the hat?

...Though i did just get a mental image of all the water gnats running into it.


It would be interesting to see if the Hat was removed, if they would do more premier and Celeb events at MGM...er...DHS again. True, it's no longer really a studio, but it might be interesting to see them return to some of the old things like allowing stars to place they hands in cement in front of the GMRCT again. Right now it's really hard for them to do anything big and special like that because there would be noplace for the crowds to watch the ceremony from.

I say move the hat! It doesnt work, there is nothing there but pin collecting, which is a waste of space. Move it to the gates and be done with it.
I am excited to see what the MI Coaster will be like, does anyone have an idea?

I personally think it looks great without the hat in front of it, but it doesn't bother me either. It's like at Epcot, I can't wait til they get rid of the tombstones in front of Spaceship Earth. I hope they go back to the original concept of the plaza area.
