My family has an ADR at Flying Fish at 750. We are spending the day at DHS and will be seeing Fantasmic which starts that evening at 630, I believe the show is half an hour. What is the best method of transportation to get from DHS to FF? Is it a long shot to get there in 50 minutes? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

The walk would take maybe 15 minutes. It will be a madhouse to try and catch the Friendship Boat if you wait until Fantasmic is over.

If you plan to exit after Fantasmic the boat which is not fast to start out with will likely have a huge line and as I said before they are not fast meaning you might have to wait for a second boat to arrive which could take another 20 minutes then that boat has to load and make a stop at the Swan/Dolphin before it gets to the Boardwalk, with another possible stop at the Y&B club since I can't recall which one it goes to first from the Swan and Dolphin, basically it could be a 60-90 minute adventure to get to Flying Fish.Your other option is to walk which would be a 15-20 minute walk, obviously the likely better choice but of course as you exit DHS you could take a glance at the boat dock to see how bad the line is and if a boat is coming giving you the ability to get on it and get there in time.

Walk! As you exit the park, stay to the left. You will see the canal to your immediate left, the bus stops to your right, the parking lot in front. Keep walking, with the lot on your right and the canal on the left. You will come to a downhill slope to the left...there should be a sign there telling you 'this way to BW'. Go down, keep walking. It is a very nice sidewalk and well lit after dark...I've walked it at 2am, by myself!!! The walk takes about 15-18 mins depending on pace. You can cut through the resort at the pool area (the main pool with the slide!)...cut through there, go thru the little tunnel area and you're at the Village Green...Flying Fish is across the green. If you go to the end of the sidewalk...go right past JellyRolls and keep walking to FF.
The boat will take way too long after Fantasmic!

I agree that if you are staying for Fantasmic!, walking is the way to go.
