DHS strategy

Hi! I currently have an ADR for Garden Grill at 5:25 on August 16. Since we have PH we were planning on heading to DHS afterwards for Fantasmic. I fast passed the second Fantasmic show and was hoping to catch the frozen fireworks first. Do you think this will work? What's the best strategy for getting to each? And do I need the Fantasmic Fastpass? Thanks for any and all suggestions!

You should have plenty of time for dinner if you are attending the second Fantasmic show. The fireworks start at 9:30pm, so if the second show is 10:30, you should have time to watch them. The best viewing is right on the main street once you enter the gate. You might want to hang out on the right side of the street so that you can make your way to the theater for Fantasmic as soon as they are over. I have never attended the second showing, but I know the first showing can be standing room only about 20 - 30 minutes before it starts, so the fastpass is great to have. I think the second show is less crowded, though.
