DHS open until 8pm; why is Fantasmic! at 8:30pm?

We're doing the Fantasmic! dining package at Mama Melrose's this August 28th. It's a Friday night and the Disney web site shows the park being open until 8pm, and the only showing of F! at 8:30pm. Is this usual?? I've seen shows scheduled for the same time as park close, but I've never seen it for a half hour later.

Thanks for the reply! It doesn't make sense, but if that's the way their schedule is, then that's fine. I'm actually glad to know that we'll have reserved seating for that night.

Nearly everyone who is going to see the show will be IN the theater by 8PM, anyway.
They can close down the rest of the park's attractions at 8PM and let the F! crowd settle into the theater.
