DHS on Christmas?

Right now we plan to spend Christmas Day in DHS. They have evening EMH Christmas Eve and the thinking was avoid MK. I realize it's going to be nuts everywhere, but now with so few attractions will DHS just be ludicrous?
We booked Minnie's Holiday and Dine and the Merry and Bright Dessert party that night. Should we spend the day or maybe start in EPCOT and walk to DHS later for dinner, etc? WWYD?

Osborne Lights and Fantasmic! will draw a lot of guests as evening approaches.

I would start out at DHS and walk to Epcot if you run out of things to do.
