I’ve come up with a list of attractions that I’m thinking I’ll be able to take our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter on next month. She is 38 1/8“ tall In her bare feet.

I have a TP subscription but am not happy with their recommended itinerary. We’ll leave the park 11:15(ish) for a late breakfast at Topolino’s And return to the hotel afterward for a rest. Which rides do y’all recommend at rope drop? DGD wakes up at 5:30 am so I plan to be lined up at the front of the crowds. We can either hop in the evening or return to DHS to finish up.

Thanks!

I'd be careful with Slinky Dog Dash. Took my 6yo on it in January and even though she really wanted to do it, was freaked out screaming the whole time. She said later it was a lot faster than she thought and didn't like it. I know every kid is different, just wanted to give you a heads up on that one.

If you do choose to do SDD, I'd start with that, then TSM, AS2, otherwise rope dropping MMRR might be the next best choice. And if you've never been to toy story land or she's never been, you may want to plan some strolling time just to explore the land. It's pretty cool all the details there.

Thanks for the reply 😊

We’re going to try Mine Train before going to DHS. She LOVES the Heigh Ho song and will listen to it 50 times in a row if we let her. She did fine on Barnstormer last Thanksgiving and is pretty brave. We skipped DHS in favor of another MK day on that trip.

We have plans to hop to DHS at least once. I might save Slinky for last thing that night. That way if she gets upset we can just head back to the hotel. It’s going to be just the two of us so we can be super flexible and go with her flow.

Be prepared for the tsunami that can be rope drop. Start with M & M Runaway Railroad, then wander and ride ASSaucers in Toy Story Land. If time allows, walk thru Star Wars on the way to Muppets, but she may not know the Muppets or not like the 3D glasses. Ck times for the Frozen Singalong--this is a must-do. On your way out, if you have time or she likes Cars, try the Lightning McQueen show. If you hop back, there is also (as of 8/15) the Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage show. Also, keep an eye out in case the Disney Jr. Dance Party returns; it was a big hit with our DGDs.

I'd edit your post and put a space before saucers, fyi... Sometimes that gets flagged.

And I agree about Disney junior dance. That is a lot of fun, plus they have little play/picture areas for each of the shows that are really cute.

Thanks for the B&tB show update. Belle is one of her favorites, just behind Moana.
