DHS... is it worth it?

I'm taking a break from homework to work on my trip in November (yes, I LOVE to plan early!) and just tallied up how many visits to each park. I'm going for 10 days and the lowest park visit I have is HS.

My question is, is it even worth going there anymore? Is the new SW make the visit worth it? I love RnRC and ToT. My son and I love SW too. I'm beginning to think that only 2 visits to HS may have to increase. Or should it stay at 2? It just seems like half the park is closed. I have 4 visits to each of the other parks (I have hoppers). I really want to visit AK at night as it should be open by the time we're down there.

Granted, I haven't spent a lot of time lately planning as school has me crazy busy so I also feel out of the loop. I could really use your help!

It's nice having 2 days to get FP+ for RnR and TSMM
I'm sure you will want to see the Star Wars fireworks.
I always enjoy a late EMH at DHS to ride RnR a few more times.

I'd probably plan your 1st 2 visits within days 1-7 ... And then have some later "flex" parks that DHS could take over if you feel you aren't done.

Personally, I think two days is plenty for DHs right now, four would probably be way too much. They have closed quite a few things my family enjoyed like the stunt show and the animation academy and I thin two full days would mere than enough for us.

It depends how much time you would spend at Launch Bay with the props, movie, and M&G and if you plan to do Jedi Training. November will most likely have the SW fireworks and possibly a new SW show running multiple times during the day. Will you want to see F! also? We are going in about a week and plan to spend a full day (RD to fireworks) and a half. We are doing the dessert party, which will take up some time. We will probably do everything in Launch Bay and Jedi Training, and the days are pretty full.

2 days is more then enough. Like a pp has said, so many things are closed now in DHS.
Do DHS on at least a day when it has extra magic hours, and 1 day may even be enough.
I'm heading to WDW this Tuesday for 7 days for my birthday. I'm only doing 1 at DHS, 1 at AK
then the rest of the days are split between MK and Epcot.
You'll want to FP TSMM for sure.
When you make your 1st 3 FP online you won't be able to get both TSMM and RnRC due to the tiered system.
I would FP TSMM and then after you use your 1st 3 FP's in the parks, go to a kiosk in the park and get the RnRC FP.

For a sw fan you can't skip HS! Between launch bay, Jedi training, the new stage show, and fireworks there will be a lot do! If you have a child that is tall enough and wants to ride the bigger rides there is plenty to do! I would go back every night to see the Star Wars fireworks. They are that good! Have a great vacation

We would probably go 4 or more mornings to DHS and then hop somewhere else. We don't do the shows anymore because kids are teenagers, but some of our favorite rides are there (TSMM, RnRC, and TOT). We would go early and ride while there isn't as much of a wait and then go somewhere else. If we wanted to see fireworks or Fantasmic, we would just hop back over there for them. As much as I love the rides, we never stay all day anymore. Now I happen to think some of the shows are great for families with little kids.

Thanks for reminding me of Launch Bay. I have one full day at HS and then a half day planned so far. Most of the things I enjoyed last time I went are now closed. I just wasn't sure how many rides/attractions will be open. I'm not sure if we'll be seeing F! We have hoppers so we can always jump over if AK or Epcot is overloaded.

2 days is more than enough 4 days is way too much time for epcot and AK as well.

Most of the 4 days is split days. I want to catch AK at night since RoL will be up and running. And of course Epcot at night is always beautiful! So that's only 2 full days at each park.

I was beginning to doubt the reason I bought hoppers but you reminded me of why I'm glad I did! We're going to be totally flexible (but knowing our ADR's ahead of time of course). I'm hopping more for the food than the rides.
