I've booked a very short 2 night stay over labor day weekend 9/1-9/3. I'm flying in on Saturday, and planning on spending all of Sunday in the MK. I won't be able to visit a park on Monday before flying out.
I would like to split my arrival day between DHS and Epcot, and what I want to do may be difficult. I will be arriving in the afternoon, so I can't rope drop, but I would like to visit both Toy Story Mania in DHS and Frozen Ever After in Epcot. Since I can only get a FP+ for one of those rides, and neither are likely to have same day FP+ available, one will have to be standby. I would also like to see Illuminations, so I'd probably head to DHS first. Should I FP+ TSMM and do standby at Frozen, or risk a long afternoon standby line at TSMM to get an evening FP+ at Frozen? I'm leaning towards FP+ TSMM, and hoping the standby line gets shorter at Frozen as Illuminations nears. Or would I risk missing Illuminations doing that?
