I'm wondering if this plan is doable. DF and I would be at DHS for rope drop. We'd like to do RRC, TOT, GMR, ST (not in that specific order), eat lunch at Mama Melrose, we'd like to watch IJA, which I'm thinking would be after lunch, then head back to our resort. We would of course use FP+ where possible. Is this feasible? (assuming all of these attractions are up and running that day)

Also, any suggestions on what time to make our lunch reservation with this plan in mind? Thanks!

Yes, it should be doable if you're there right at rope drop. A lot depends on crowds though. I'm thinking you could book lunch around 12:30 - 1:30 but that's purely a guess as crowds make such a difference.

Unless you're not there early, or it's extremely crowded, I would say so easily. We went during EMH and rode RNRC twice. Then went on TOT, stopped in a couple shops, ST a couple times, saw the muppets, played in the playground, rode GMR, then went to the 11 Indiana Jones. I would say if you get there early, ride the rides once, and walk at a decent pace you'd be able to get those things done quite fast.

Thank you! We move pretty quickly, and are always at the parks before rope drop. It'll be the last week of August, so I'm hoping crowds aren't too crazy early in the morning. And hopefully we will be done before the afternoon thunderstorms!

Your plan looks more than doable, especially that you don't plan on doing Midway Mania (unless your forgot it in your list). While the majority of people at rope drop will flock to this attraction, you can beeline for RNRC & ToT like pens4821 mentioned. You could probably do it all without using any FPs if you do a little touring plan before you head out to make sure you're hitting everything you want in an order that makes both sense in terms of crowds walking direction. You can then use your FPs for the afternoon or evening at another park that will be busy. :)

The last week of August is when our family likes to go to WDW. The low crowds should make it easy to see and do everything you want to do. See you at the most magical place on earth!
