Just looking to book a treat trip for Dec 14 looking at staying at DHL. There will be five of us going 2 adults 1 16 year old and 2 14 year olds. Was looking at booking two rooms, one adult in each as we have APs bought earlier this year but noticed a family room for five. Does anyone know if this room would be suitable for our group and if I would be able to book it just for two people. Thanks for your help :)

The official DLP UK site has a live chat feature now when you do a booking - I've just asked your question there :).

Unfortunately, the 3rd bed in the family room at the DLH is not meant for adults, and the official line is that at least one of your party of 5 must be aged under 12 to book into the family room for 5 guests at the DLH.

we found this when we wanted to book a family room (the 5th person can't be an 'adult') so booked two rooms instead. It cost us approx £100 extra but was so worth it, not just for the extra bathroom but the extra space. You can request connecting rooms when you book, although they say they're not guaranteed they'll always try to accommodate your request.

Thank you for your replies. Two rooms with two bathrooms sounds good. Can't wait now. So excited :)
