DH won a radio contest!!!

A local radio station has been running a contest. After you register with them on line and if they call your name as you are listening at work, you must call within 10 minutes. You then WIN $100!! If, during the next hour's call, if that person doesn't call, you win their $100 as well!!! This continues til someone calls in. He called me at 10:15 and said they announced his name!! He called them and has been on the radio!!! Guess I'll be listening to the radio for awhile today.

Fancy restaurant? Me? I'd much rather spend $10 at McD's and put $90 in the disney fund!! I don't have the patience for a sit down restaurant. I always wondered when I was a kid and used to hate going out to dinner with my parents if I would like it when I grew up. Nope, don't like it!! (The only reason I even ate at Chef Mickey's was so the kids could see the characters! )

Congrats! I won on a local radio station here last November doing the same thing although theirs was $50/hour. I won a total of $350! I couldn't believe noone was calling in after me. It got to be a joke at the office, and the DJ even said, "If you aren't a friend of Lorraine's by now, you better be". I still haven't told my DH, I am going to surprise him with new patio furniture this summer. Can I keep a secret or what?
