I had always thought that my DH "tolerated" WDW because I love it so much, but, apparently he enjoys it himself afterall!!!

I came home from work the other night and my DH was entertaining a couple of his friends. As they were watching football, somehow he started talking about Epcot.

I think I pretty much fell in love with him all over again as I listened to him wax eloquent about World Showcase, and after he told his friends, "You HAVE to go into Club Cool... try the one from Italy, that's all I have to say!"

:worship:  :worship:

I think I might be making some headway!!!

Just thought YOU ALL would be the only ones who would appreciate this!!! ;)

This happened DURING FOOTBALL???????????!!!!!

He is on his way to being a full blown WDW fanatic:thumbsup2

I'll give him my wife's number, maybe he can talk some sense into her, LOL.

Imagine my surprise when I caught my dh...who has always "tolerated" Disney...listening to my Wishes CD in the car!! And singing along!!

Some of us can not only appreciate it, but identify with it. DH has always been "Disney-tolerant". But lately I've snuck up on him watching DISNEY MOVIES!! And he's been quoting lines to me at the oddest times. His latest is to imitate Mo in Wall-E. But Dan,I don't have any advice for you. I thought it was kind of a "Man thing" not to admit to liking Disney.

Very nice! My DH has tolerated my love of WDW too. We were there in Oct and did not use all our days on our tickets. We talked, he walked into the help desk at DTD and upgraded our tickets! UPGRADED, our tickets!
Unbelievable!
Amazing how we think we know what our guys will do..then they surprise us.

I have a WDW-tolerant husband, and this is my dream post.

So tonight my DH had the weather channel on and said "This sounds just like the music they play on the resort information channel at Disney. Quick, flip up one channel and see if Staci's on!"

I'm amazed he could recognize music from a TV channel in Disney!

P.S. Now, the girls were in the room---and we are surprising them with a trip after Christmas---so he was starting the hype....but still...he was right about the music!

DH has surprised me like that many times. :) Not sure why it always surprises me he likes it as much as he does but it always is a little shocking.

We just built a new house and he's put a few hidden Mickeys here and there around the house.

We're planning our trip for next October and will do 2 days at Universal this time (for HP). I was contemplating a split stay - staying at a Universal hotel when we were doing HP and then WL for the rest.

DH put his foot down. "We'll do HP and the Uni rides, but I'm staying at Disney - that's where the magic is!" He then further impressed me by saying that if I wanted to do Concierge level, it would be okay by him. :woohoo:

Who is this man and what did he do with my DH??????

:thumbsup2 OP...

My dh is in the tolerates WDW camp too. But, he always seems to bring it up. Sometimes I think it is impossible for him to admit there are things he actually LIKES beyond the food!

Didn't someone once say... "A dream is a wish your heart makes" and "The dream that you wish will come true"??? :thumbsup2
