Dh says let's get AP's!!!

i wanted AP's this trip but money has been tight and I decided not to , well DH said let's get them ! We looked at how much the hoppers cost and we always seem to go 2 times a year. He said nothing seems to make me as happy as a trip to DL , so let's get them so you will be happy more often!

Yeah! We went last year on an 8 day park hopper and figured out that with an extra $30 a piece we could buy AP's and then our trip this year would be already taken care of, well at least for the disneyland tickets.
We will buy park hoppers next year again, since I get an extra discount from my work and then again on the last day of our trip we will upgrade for the next year. Very convenient and affordable way to take a trip each year.

Awe, that's fabulous! We got our AP's last year and even though we live so far away we've still managed to pull two trips to DL this year. So maybe you will be going more than your usual 2 times Congrats, the discounts are fun too!!

I told the boys we could not afford them , what a surprise it will be when we go and get them! Now we can go in November for my b-day and Ds11 b-day combined and enjoy the Christmas decorations with the ent rate from hojo! This will also keep away the post trip depression I always get after the trip, won't have to hide form the Dis cause I will be in planning stage all over again.

I just want to recommend that you resist the temptation to buy the deluxe AP. That was my first AP, and between the one blackout date I used and the artwork being released for the first time on said blackout date, the money I saved would have nearly covered the difference between the premium and the deluxe(and this does not account for all the discounts I missed out on not related to the artwork. If you can't afford all premiums, than at least have one person get the premium for the higher food discounts and all merchandise discounts. It's worth every penny.

The difference between premium & the rest of the APs are 5%. Premiums = 15%, rest =10%. The regular hotel AP discounts are the same as AAA discounts. But at slower times of the year, Disney offers special AP discount rates. Those are the one that really make your vacation all the more affordable.

Like in September and October right? And if I made a reservation now can you change it later when they are offering the AP rates?

See I wonder if it is worth it for 5%, we stay off site when the Ent rate for hojo is good so no free parking needed. $120.00 is a big difference unless we were going much more then 2 or 3 times a year. If we lived in the area then I would do it for sure parking enough would pay the difference.

You and I are thinking alike. We usually stay onsite so the parking wouldn't make a difference I don't think.
