DH bought some tix for a Broadway show for me for Christmas. I wasn't involved in the transaction at all. He bought the tix from Ticketmaster and thought he'd purchased them for Dec. 29.
Well I asked him this morning to check which date the tix were for so I could line up MIL to babysit. He checked and started ranting and raving.
He'd bought tix for November 29!!!!!!!! Well, that was yesterday.... so we lost the chance to go entirely.
Of course, being a guy, he's insisting that it must be Ticketmaster's fault. At first, he thought the date must reset if you push the back button (only if you go all the way back to the "choose your date" page). Now, he's insisting that it's Ticketmaster's fault because they only give you 2 minutes to confirm the information for your purchase.
So, he's planning on calling Ticketmaster and trying to get a refund from a site that has a very clear No Refund policy. I think he'd be better off to admit that he made a mistake and just go on with life. Yes, it's a bit of money, but luckily we can afford to buy new tickets.
I need a vacation....
