We can't wear it to work becuase he works with elevators. You're not supposed to wear them in the elevator shafts or mechanical rooms because of the threat the pose. He usually takes it off and leaves it in a little soccer ball jewelry holder on the bedroom dresser.
He forgot to take it off at home yesterday. He and a friend went out to do their handover inspections. He put it into the change section of his wallet- just the bottom of the billfold area, no zippers, just a typical men's leather wallet.
I called him around 3:00pm and he sent Mark into a gas station to get bottles of water for them while he stayed on the phone with me. We now know that Mark thought just a quarter fell out of the wallet because he picked it up.
Fast forward 3 hours- we finished working out at home and he went to put it back on. Not in his wallet. Not in the car. Not in the parking lot here. Not in the house.
We called the gas station and they took a look around but didn't see it. He's going back today in hopes that it's under the lip of a shelf or something. We did leave them the name and number in case it turns up. But, it's Alexandria, VA. I'm not real hopeful. Call is already in to insurance claims.
Keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer to St. Anthony if you can
