Dear God! My DH just asked me to change our Dec plans (due to the military). I have a package at the PPH and as of now it will cost me $100.00 to cnx it. I have been on every website I can find to get 4 nights at the PPH or DLH from 27 Nov to 4 Dec (any 4 nights). The only thing I can get is $1890.00 and with my 11-15 dates I am paying $860.00.

So hear is my question. The PPH is .4 miles from the entrance to DL, can anyone recommend a hotel with in the same distance.

I could just crap my pants right now.

I have two toddlers who take naps and DH doesn’t want to take a shuttle for nap time. In fact, he usually tells me we will stay at the GCH, so home agreeing to stay at PPH is wonderful.

Many thanks for any advise.

Oh you poor thing! For hotels/motels in walking distance, try the Howard Johnson's, the Best Western Park Place Inn, the Carousel Inn, The Park Inn (sometimes called Park Inn International), The Tropicana or the Desert Inns and Suites. That's what I can think of off the top of my head! All of those are within walking distance and in fact some are closer than Paradise Pier. I love staying onsite but it can get so pricey! At the top of this forum is a thread titled "Official Disneyland Resort Good Neighbor Hotels". This has a ton of information about nearby hotels/motels and I believe all of the ones I mentioned above have links. The Candy Cane Inn is also supposed to be great ( I don't think it is listed in the above thread I just mentioned), you can walk to it but they have a free shuttle as well. Their website is www.candycaneinn.net. I would also check Expedia for hotel deals near Disneyland. Good luck, I hope everything works out!!

P.S. We have stayed at the Howard Johnsons, it was very nice, but request a non highway side room if you stay there! We have also stayed at the Park Inn International and that was fine too, basic but clean and VERY close to the main gate of Disneyland.

thank you both so very much! I think everything igoing to work out, I might need to put out a little extra $$$, but that's the way it goes.

Have a Great Disney Day!!!
