For 2 weeks!!!!

Help me stay sane
help me stay off the boards
help me to not kill my angels
help me remember to work out
help me to remember to do my swaps
help me stay motivated to clean the house
help me remember to get a good nights sleep
help me not eat loads of bad food and to make the right choices

That's easy peasy lemon squeezy right?!?!? :lmao:

Ok- tell me when I can start!!! Just name it and if I can help out, I sure will!!! I know my way to Blinkville.

Um, be the room parent for 8th grade, meet with the principal about DS8's future at Blink Elementary School, laundry, dishes, work out for me! LOL

Just be here when I'm ready to strangle the kids. They have been unruly this week!! And DD and DS8 are both home with Fifth's Disease. ERGH!!!

Hey, how about the room teacher???? Have had much experience with 8th grade and many other grades too - come to think of it!! Pretty good at meeting with principals too.;) Not sure where the Blinkville Middle School is, but I bet I can find it easily! Got room to take some kids here too - will just take them to school with me!! Oh, wouldn't that be an enlightening experience????

I thought this was going to say "Party at my house!"

....Nope.

Oh well. There goes the 2 week crop I was getting ready to pack for. :rotfl:

You'll be great! I have faith.

I'll kick you off here if I see you on. :)

Blinkville Middle school is easy to find, it's upstairs from Blinkville Elementary! LOL pre-K through 8 all in one place. If DD had gone potty this year, they all would have been in the same building for one year.

School with you? that might be a bit to much of a culture shock. Heck, we have 2 hispanic kids in the building and one Asian kid. That's about as Diverse as Blink Elementary has ever been!!

i'm over here watching you....

You can watch my work out numbers!! Thanks for keeping an eye on me!

Hey you can come over!!! Maybe you can talk some sense into DS13 about school and grades. I'm not getting anywhere with him, I'm just old and crazy.

If the kids have a rash from 5th's disease, then they are no longer contaigous. We have an outbreak every year at preschool, but after the runny nose and maybe fever, you are too late to protect the rest of the school. DD had it in preschool. No big deal unless the kids are near a pregnant woman. That is really the only issue.

Just saying, so you don't keep them home unnecessarily! :)

I know, but heaven forbid I send the kids to school with a rash, they will turn him right around and send him home. People at our school freak over stuff like that. The only reason I'm sending the other 2 is DS13 has a huge deal of a field trip and DS9 has a huge project due tomorrow.

I don't think there are any pregnant teachers this year. DD had it last year too and we had 3 pregnant teachers in the building, that was fun! One of them was DS8's teacher but once DD got it I kept DS home because he's always gets sick.

That is crazy but I understand! Makes you want to tape a note to his chest! Our director sends the letter home on what 5th's is and what the symptons are. My Ped says you can only get it once. I thought Megan was getting it every year. Finally figured out that yes the first time was 5th's and the next 2 times was an allergic reaction to coppertone baby lotion. Odd I know but it was late spring that she would break out and finally concluded the lotion! Every one gets it in their life. They more than likely won't remember it because there are no effects of having it! Not fair for you to have to keep them home because some people won't do their homework! Now when I see one kid come in with it, I just shrug my shoulders and keep on moving. There is no medicine for it and it will just go away on its own. It can take weeks!

But I wish you lots of patience! And I hope they are back in school quickly!!!

You know I have your back!!
I'm game for the Principal meeting... ;)
You know how I feel on that issue already!!!!
Of course me and your school are like oil and water... there would be tears and they wouldn't be mine!

I was hitting the walls while DH was out at work yesterday morning - only a couple of hours

Hope DH is bringing you back something nice and scrappy to help you relax;)

I wish but he puts in 12 hour days when he's on the road so he doesn't get out much.

I am however going on a scrappy retreat at the end of February. He'll be saddled with the kids that weekend!

2 weeks is a long time - we'll all help keep you sane! I know you'll be looking forward to the Feb. scrap weekend even more after the next 2 weeks!

Two words:

Muck stalls!!!

First kid gets out of line get a round trip ticket to muck stalls for DN.
