DH is interviewing RIGHT NOW!!!! UPDATE

Interview should've started at 4....this one is local...a more lateral move than anything, but co. called him last week asking if he was interested and to send his resume. After they rec'd it they e-mailed back w/this response..."WOW! YOU ARE AN EXACT MATCH FOR WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR!" ( let's see if they think that after asking his salary requirements ...just joking) I know that sounds encouraging and all, but a bit too easy in my opinion. He has had so many false alrms, it is hard to trust in anything any co. says anymore. It is only 2 miles from his current employer so we would not have to move (bummer) or I guess we could if we wanted too. I digress.....the main thing is it will get him out of the job from H*** he's in now. We are still hanging by a thread for a position in Cincinnati..but this popped up too. Now the worst part is...I bought his fav Hostess cupcakes for him when he gets home...box is too close to me...calling my name...scent of chocolate frosting too much to take....HELP!!!!!!!!!

O.K. I was moving the cupcakes to the pantry to put them out of sight, and the dog ran past me and I dropped the box, and the corner dented. While I was trying to undent the corner, it ripped a little...so I tried to straighten that out and the pull tab tore off slightly...y'know, just enough to see the plastic wrapper on the cupcake. The poor little cupcake looked a little crooked to me , from the box falling and all, so I reached in just to straighten it out and I SWEAR it lept into my hand and would not get off!!!!It's an ugly scene over here right now...chocolate crumbs everywhere...plastic wrapping on the floor...and no news from DH yet! I tried guys...honestly, I did, but after the first 90 minutes went by I gave in to my obsession with chocolate. Hey, if it wasn't for me, DH would have never discovered that he likes these cupcakes so much!
Robin....giggle giggle....I cuold hear the mega-phone thingy the cops use.. crackle....step away from the cupcakes..crackle...
I'm done now...NO MORE CUPCAKES!
Now if I just knew what was going on w/the interview......

He's back...things look pretty good so far. We won't hear 'till early next week. At least they gave him all the HR stuff, ins. etc., and asked when he'd be available start. We'll see, like I said we have been down this road B4....
CUPCAKES! I have only eaten that one poor little misplaced one...
catsrule and mrsmom...we are hoping for Cinci too. He is still going to pursue it like crazy..that is a much better position and career move. Hey, even if he was offered this one locally here, he can still pursue the OH job. It is moving so slowly tho, and we have not heard anything yet this week on it.
