DH insists he can get from CBR to epcot on his scooter..is that possible

Scooter as in foot-powered scooter? Not gonna happen, unless he is unwise and chooses to scoot on streets. The streets were not designed with the thought that people would walk, cycle or scoot on them. They are not safe for that purpose.

Even though CBR is across the street from Epcot, it's across the street from the BACK of Epcot, and not near the International Gateway. If you could fly like a bird, you could start at CBR's Aruba building 56 and fly a straight line across the grass and then across the street, you'd eventually fly right in between Germany and Italy in World Showcase.

If you're talking about a motorized scooter, well ... I guess he could scoot around to the front entrance using the same roads that cars and buses use. He wouldn't be able to use the International Gateway entrance because there is no parking lot there, and he can't just leave a scooter on the sidewalk.

No, it's not.

Even though CBR is close to Epcot, it is not possible. There is not a path.
When you look at the map of CBR, the American Pavilion at Epcot is kind of directly behind where Aruba is on the map.

but, you can see from the map of the whole area that there are roads between and no way to get into the park from the part that is closest to CBR.
The general WDW map won't print here (probably too big), but you can see it here:

The only entrances to the park are at the International Gateway ('12') on the map and the main entrance at the front.

Sure he can do it. Wait at a bus stop at CBR, get the scooter loaded on the bus, ride the bus to Epcot, unload the scooter at Epcot, hop back on the scooter.

But scooters are not allowed inside the parks, LOL.

I'll bet he's thinking Beach Club Resort instead of Caribbean Beach Resort...maybe? He could ECV from the BC to Epcot.

This is your husband you are talking about, right? Does he have a great life insurance policy that names you as beneficiary? Then by all means, let him do it.

Seriously, we've driven that way many, many, many times. The area is VERY congested. Let me put it this way - he'd have to 'drive" along Buena Vista Drive. At one time, when we walked from the Swan to MGM (hollywood Studios), my husband insisted (it's always the husbands, isn't it?) that the path went to the Studios. It doesn't - that's only on the Boardwalk side. So we had to go up and cross over the canal using Buena Vista Drive. I'm a city girl and that had me scared. Needless to say, we don't do that anymore.

Could he do it? Probably. Should he do it? NO.
