Hi everyone :wave2: I have been lurking for a while and reading everyones wonderful PJs and TRs. My DH and I have been married for six years and DH has given his ok to do a VR for our ten year anniversary at Disney. That's not until 2012 but I am so excited. After reading everyones PJs I just have to make my introductions seeing that I have a looooong time to go and until I can start my own.:rotfl: Is it silly to be so excited this early on?:confused3 I know there's not much I can do right now but I am looking forward to getting to know everyone on this board.

Its never silly to be excited about anything- its makes life more fun. Anyway, welcome to another VR'er and there is alot of great info and inspiring ideas on this board. Looking forward to hearing your plans... welcome and have fun!

That's great news! Congrats! I have been planning my VR in my head for years!!! I can't believe it will finally happen next year!! Believe me time flys and yours will be here sooner than you know!

It sure is making my life more fun. I have so many great ideas that I have picked up on this board in just 2 months. I can only imagine what four years will bring.

I know what you mean about planning in my head. I wanted to do a VR for my fifth anniversay but didn't start saving money soon enough so I have actually been planning this for a while. When I discussed it with my DH the other day he was totally for it. We were married within a few months of our engagment because my FIL was terminally ill and my DH wanted his dad to be at his wedding. I agreed and although I didn't have the wedding of my dreams I still had a beautiful wedding. This is a small way (ok-maybe a big way) of my DH letting me have the wedding of my dreams. He is the best husband I could ever ask for and spoils me more than I deserve.:cloud9:

Congrats and welcome. I know it seems like a long time, but I can't believe we'll be celebrating our 25th in September. Time seems to go faster every year!

Welcome & Congrats! And I agree with everyone else, it's never too early!! That's the fun part! :goodvibes

I started talking about renewing our vows right after we got married and we are going to do it this year - for our 20th anniversary! So I know how it feels to wait - just think of all the good ideas you'll have by 2012!

we are planning our VR for our 20th anniversary in 2010 so I understand about being early and also about waiting, but I figure I can do certain things now and get ideas ready and then other things later as the date gets closer. That way we can pick and choose what we want..... have fun planning. enjoy your planning....;)

LOL I don't think it matters how early you start planning your VR and of course you should be this excited this early.

I'm already planning my 10 yr in 2014 albeit in my head but I really cannot wait :) and I haven't even had our 5 year yet LOL LOL

So glad your DH said yes to Disney, you both clearly have great taste:woohoo:

Congrats on getting your DH to agree :) I don't think its too early to be excited or to start looking at options. If I could get my DH to agree to a VR, I would be quite excited. But he keeps telling me he's already married and would rather just go on vacation. Men! ;)

The planning is so much fun! So, by starting a little early, you get to enjoy the process that much longer! Glad to see you here and looking forward to getting to know you as you gather and share ideas!

Thank you for the warm welcome. We are going to Disney in December for a week and I plan to stop at the GF and BW to view the areas. I really would like to hold the ceremony outside and I love the look of the Living Seas for the reception. The one thing I definately know is that I want a dessert party at Epcot I'm just not sure where.
