DH got headhunted and he said no

A major IT firm contacted MrNeo today desperately trying to offer him a job and he said no because it's in a field of IT he doesn't like, even though he seems to be the only person in the north of England who can actually do it.
They would have taken care of the needed accreditation (MrNeo can do the job but doesn't have the necessary paperwork to back it up). The company's current guy for that departement was headhunted and offered a better job down south and MrNeo was the only person they know who can do the job too. They've so far looked at all the usual channels to get someone, through lists of accredited people, ... and can't find anyone who they can ask.
He didn't even try to negotiate or ask what else would be in the package. We know that some of these people can make £400 an hour and he just said no, not interested

My mom has been headhunted before now and always says no before she even hears them out, she just says i can't be doing with moving around at the moment. I'd go for the money too but then when i see my mom working very long days and being away etc i'd prefer to be at home for less.

He should feel very proud to be headhunted but if he wouldn't be happy surely it doesn't matter how much money was on offer! Who am I kidding that would be more WDW trips
