Princess Aurora, trust me...this is the most romantic thing he has ever done! I guess it takes 22 years!

When I asked him how he paid for it (what credit card) he just looked at me and said he took it out of the container in the back yard where we keep the bird seed. (he got that from the Sopranos!)

Oh - I have tears in my eyes! I can so totally relate to your story.

Almost 2 yrs ago (after 12 yrs of marriage at the time), I lost my ENTIRE wedding ring set (3 rings joined together). We have no idea how -- other than -- are you ready for this -- we think I lost it while cleaning the bathroom & it went down the TOILET!! :rolleyes:

The ring, not the marriage. I didn't notice I had lost it, because I was upset from the vet's phone call. The tests of our 13 yrs old cat who had kidney disease showed she had very little time left. (she died about 1 wk later)

I was devasted. It wasn't an expensive set, but it was MY wedding ring set. The one HE picked out & gave to me. I cried for WEEKS.

I didn't want a replacement. I WANTED MY RINGS!!

He convinced me to go shopping with him to look. I kept hoping to see MY rings in the jewelers case. No luck. I had sales clerks near tears with me.

We bought a lovely replacement. BUT, I would do ANYTHING to have MY rings back.

You are SO lucky!!!! He sounds like a keeper!!!!!!!!!!!
