a stray puppy someone dropped off in his work parking lot (ugh .. people are so mean!). We are in the process of adopting a baby (home study soon! eeeeeeek!) and already have 2 jack russells. In other words, not really good timing :)

Our doggies are up to date on the shots. Is there anything else (like virus/disease) strays may have that shots don't prevent? We already gave him flea bath and put flea/tick stuff on her just to make sure she was ok, but just worried we may be missing something else! Don't wnat to jeopardize the health of our other 2 dogs!

Doggy is very cute! Looks like lab mix ... small now but HUGE paws and looooong legs! Black with white paws.

Anyone need new friend?

me,
he sounds so cute. :teeth: lab mixes are great doggies. :)

If you absolutely can't keep the puppy, please take the lil one to a no-kill shelter or lab rescue outfit. I'd call a vet's office or do a little research online, you should probably keep the puppy in a separate area. Good luck :)

We got our 1st doggy from a local no kill shelter. They are only open Thur- Sun. I will take her there if needbe. By then, though we will probably have already fallen for her!

Just look at that cute little face, those whiskers, those eyes! You know you love him already! :teeth: :)

I hear ya, I'm such a sucker it's not funny. I can't go near pet stores or shelters w/out bawling my eyes out, wanting to take them all home. I just know I'm gonna be an old spinster with about 50 cats :teeth:

I just do not understand how people can just "drop off" an animal somewhere and not even care about its well being!!! My son's girlfriend went to the Salvation Army to drop off some of the clothes their kids had outgrown and there was a small petporter just by the door, two poor puppies (half grown, so not really at the "cute" stage anymore) were inside all huddled together. It was obvious they had been there a day or two (more maybe), as the petporter was filthy and so were they. She brought them home, gave them baths and fed them, they were so hungry, poor little things! They set up a pen in the garage as they didn't want the dogs getting around their own dog or ours (we live next door to them) and it took a couple weeks for her to find new homes for them but she did. They were such nice little doggies (lab mixes).
