DH and I snuck in to see Shrek......

and DS14 and his friends didn't even know we were there! DS wanted to see Shrek with about 10 of his friends on Friday night. We asked if we could tag along and got the "don't you dare" stare. Well, since we had to pick him up when the movie was over, we couldn't go to a different time so we sat in the back and they never even knew we were there!

I miss those days of going to the movies with them.

Good for you! I will have to remember this for when my DS wants nothing from us but transportation!

I agree, I love going to the movies as a family. But middle DS 11 is the one who always wants to go only with his friends. DS 13 will still be seen with us though. DS 11 already told me he has a date for Harry Potter and I said -- don't even think about it, we are going together. I'm sure my plans will fall apart before then.
