DFW to LAX - ?$

Yep, for sure. Fares to LAX, so far, are lots cheaper, and there are more flight options than to SNA.

This is why I chose LAX too. I'm not flying from as far away. But it was still much cheaper to fly into LAX than SNA and they had so many more appealing times. I wanted more options than just horrifically early in the morning or way past my bedtime at night. Cheaper flights and more time options - win win!

I honestly didn’t find LAX to be as crazy as I feared it would be. I have no problem flying there again in September.

I have never seen DFW to SNA for anything close to $227, so you may just do best to go to LAX. Yes it costs more in time, headache and transportation, but if that is an ok trade off, then definitely go for it! Time is critical to us, so we are willing to pay more to go into SNA. Sounds like you are in a different situation, so LAX will save a lot of money for your family. Have a great trip!

You can also look into an app called Hopper. Might give you an idea if fares are good right now.

Thanks for this, very cool! Am downloading it now - and coincidentally flying out of DFW (which is why I'm reading this thread). We usually fly into ONT or SNA, rarely LAX, but not opposed. Excited to find a deal!! (We usually go to DLR once a year, but I'm trying to bump it to twice a year, but need those deals to come through.) Thanks again!
