I am not sure what the appropriate thing to get our planner/assistant are.

From our planning session in Disney to today, just 45 days out from our wedding, our planner has done everything possible to get us what we need in our budget. Our final budget was not much of a stretch, yet we didn't sacrifice anything...

I read that planners can accept gifts. Well, her assistant took my calls most of the time when the planner was busy and did a ton of leg work. I would like to get her something as well.

I just don't know what is considered appropriate and I need ideas for something good and meaningful.

Maybe a box of Godiva? Or something unique that you can get at your honeymoon location?

We gave our planner a gift bag full of things that were typical of where we live. We live in the UK so in the bag we put, tea from Harrods, Scottish shortbread, Cadbury chocolate and other things too. Is there anything that is typical to your home town/state that you can give. If not as the pp says good chocolates are always most acceptable!!!

My Uncle makes jams & jelly's etc and we made small ones as favor's and bigger ones for the planner & priest. They had our name/date and that they were made in Nova Scotia, Canada.
