Does anyone know if you can freeze Devonshire Cream? I made some for our Christmas Around the World luncheon at work and there's tons left over.

Merry Christmas, especially to my 2 Birmingham friends...

is it clotted cream? (the sort with a crust on top?) if so then yes you can freeze it but it still has a fairly short life - in fact its delicious frozen, like ice cream

I'm not really sure - it's made from what we call "sour cream". Usually used for making dips for veggies and potato chips... This time confectioners sugar and vanilla extract were added.

I froze it awhile. It would have had to have been tossed out anyway. But now I just may taste it while frozen - just to check you know? :thumbsup2
