Developer Points. Can you Transfer?

My brother has developer points that he can not use. He was thinking of transferring them to me for my upcoming trip and then I would transfer him some of my 2008 points in return.

Was trying to read through my old contracts, but did not see what I was looking for.

Can you transfer your developer points to another owner?

I don't think you can transfer DPs. You don't really own them. You might be able to make a reservation in his name using your DPs.

As JaxFLBear said, Dev Points can not be transferred. You can make a reservation in the other parties name. And, since it is family, it would probably be just as easy for you to make a reciprocal reservation in the future in your brother's name, rather than transfer from your account to his account.

Thanks. Problem is they only have 102 developer points left. My trip is costing 209. I am already using 100 of my developer points and using 109 of my normal points for the rest. If I split my reservation into 2 (one with his developer points and one with mine + regular points), I am not guarenteed the same room correct? It would be 2 separate reservations and I could possibly be moved. Is that correct?

The two reservations can be linked together by MS - just have it noted on each reservation and confirm again at arrival.
