Developer points - 11 month window?

Hello fellow DVC DISers,

Does anyone know if you can book 11 months out (or at least more than 7 months out) to use developer points?

There's also a 7 month booking window for DL resorts. Using with RCI has a few different rules.

You can book the DL hotels more than 7 months out. I booked my trip for May in September.

On regular points yes. It's 11 months.

My two Dev. Pt contracts have both stated you can only book 7 months ahead of time with those points. "All reservations utilizing Developer Points for accommodations at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort or at one of the following disney Collection resort hotels located in California (list of hotels), must be booked no more than seven (7) months prior to check in date, must be confirmed and stays must be completed by Oct 3, 2009 or the DP's are forfeited".

If you were able to do otherwise then you got a break.
