Detroit Park and Fly

at Baymont Inns. It's about $82 for the room and parking for 9 nights.

We've stayed at the Baymont before, it's not bad. This week we're staying at the HoJo just up the street. It's one of very few Sleep, Park & Fly hotels that actually has a gated lot for long-term parking. Room rate I was quoted on the phone was $75/night.

We stayed at the Howard Johnson this past March and NEVER again! It's just plain awful!:headache:

Hmmm. We stayed there in January and had absolutely no problems. Room was on the small side, but was clean.

Keep 'em coming, folks! :goodvibes I need one of these for our August trip. I looked into the Westin because a friend said she's got it for around $119 ... i plunked in my date and came back with $249

Mike we stayed in the very first unit on the extreme right of the first set of buildings at the HoJo and if we hadn't have been so tired from our trip (it was after midnight flying in from Tampa) we would have left and drove straight home. The room stunk of a musty smell and the heater was literally falling off of the wall. The bathroom was very dirty looking and the tub faucet was running all night and I mean running! Not dripping....I can't believe the housekeeping staff would not have had it fixed as they are in there cleaning on a daily basis! The bed was very worn looking too as was the bedding and the whole place was just "yucky" I really felt uncomfortable there and would never go back.:sad2:

We booked at the Westin right inside the Detroit Airport terminal for $159.00 plus taxes. This includes valet parking and 9 days parking. Hopefully NWA flies out of that terminal. To book, you must phone the hotel direct and use code MLT (i think). Just go onto NWA.com, click onto hotels and get the ifo from there. Hopefully by staying there we can sleep an hour longer since our flight leaves at 6:40 AM

I just stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for $99 and it included parking & breakfast. It was fabulous. Due to a Detroit City by-law the hotels cannot allow you to park at the property for extended periods. We took our van to Quik Park and the Garden Inn gave us a card to hand it at departure. It went very smooth. We had 90 minutes for check-in and it was barely enough time ~ be sure to allow two hours even for domestic flights.

I would definitely stay there again. :goodvibes

Wow! July 27th is $99 for two doubles and August 27th is $159!

I wonder what the difference is? Sorry guys ~ it depends on the date.
