We are looking at getting a hotel room March 3rd and checking out on the 4th.

Our flight is at 2:00pm on the 4th and we come back on the 19th

Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced hotel that offers Park and Fly for Detroit Airport?

Depends what you looking for. We go with quality inn. Clean room. Not 5 stars by any means. No pool. What makes the place, the staff. they are nice and friendly and willing to please. They have a breakfast included in the price. No thrills, but you can make you own waffles. Eggs and sausage. You leave your car there, and it gets transferred to another parked garage. We have done this twice. No incidents. And are planning on doing so again in Oct. On a side note, they are close to the airport. You can hear the airplanes fly over head from time to time. I got a rate for 99 with tax for a 14 night parking and room. I couldn't beat that price! I seem to get cheaper quotes when I call the hotel directly.

Go with the Fairfield, I stayed there last year October, nice hotel, clean and fairly close to the airport. Shuttle is every 5 minutes from the airport (they use quikpark's shuttles) so no waiting when you get back which is REALLY nice, just jump on the red shuttle & tell the driver Fairfield Inn (it's right next to quickpark lot). Shuttle TO airport is every half hour. You can book the park & fly rate online at http://www.park-and-fly-hotels.com .

We stayed at La Quinta Inn a couple years ago and did the qwik park service. Worked really well for us, no issues at all and I found a great coupon so it wasn't expensive at all!

We've been using Comfort Inn Metro Airport. We haven't actually stayed there but this is the hotel parking service we use. It's the absolute cheapest. Not always worth it for a quick trip, but for a longer trip, we feel its worth it. I think we pay about $5-$6 a day vs the $8 a day at qwikpark, etc. I like qwikpark better (it's faster) but I don't mind it taking longer to save a few bucks either.

The wait at the counter can take a 5-10 mins (only one person doing it and the process is fairly lengthy for each guest) and you have to wait for the full size van to return. Qwikpark, I never wait more than a minute or two.

Good luck.

Scratch those plans.

We are CDN and ordered a couple dresses and shipped them to an USA address. The pick up location isn't open Sundays. Looks like we will be leaving from home Monday and no overnight stay
