Details for HHN 2009?

My friend at school talked to someone who's doing HHN and I'm not so sure if he was being serious.. but he said that the theme was going to be 'old' monsters.. like Frankenstein and stuff.

That has been a popular rumour floating around a while. We'll have to wait and see.

and hopefully, the theme will not be dedicated to saw.
one house for Saw would be fine.

Totally agree! A house containing different types of torture is cool. Having multiple houses dedicated to Jigsaw and torture would become redundant and boring. We need houses dedicated to monsters, undead and other things that go bump in the night!

I'm so excited! I've only done the one in Hollywood so I can't wait for Orlando this year!

Yeah...I don't think the Saw series is strong enough to support the whole event so a really good Saw house would definately be cool! :cool2:

Even if Saw was hosting the whole event as it were, they would still only get one haunted house and then a stage show based on previous years wouldn't they? And then the general decor around the park. But not multiple houses.

E.g for 2007's carnival of carnage, Jack had a stage show and a funhouse (which he didn't even appear in!) but all the other houses were themed on completely different things.

We were at HHN for 2007 for the first time, and will be back this year for our 2nd go, and with a small group of friends as well this time, so can't wait to see what they have in store!!

Anything is possible but you're right...Saw wouldn't get mulitple houses...the movies just aren't that different. I'm thinking it will be something along the lines of Dead Silence from 2007...which was an excellent house! I am curious as to who or what the icon will be this year.

I didn't like the Dead Silence house. I went through it a few times, but it was just weak. :confused3

I must admit I wasn't a huge fan either, in fact this and Vampyr tied for the least scares I got, and I was pretty easy to scare in the other houses :lmao:

Movie-wise so far, my favorites have been Freddy in 2007 and Doomsday in 2008. I loved how Freddy's house was so dark and disorienting, and then he'd be right there in your face. I was stumbling through there one night yelling "Oh My God!" and suddenly he was right at my ear saying, "God won't help you in here!" Doomsday started out weak, but turned into one of my big-time faves last year. I got some of my best scares in there, including being chased through three rooms by one scareactor. I hope a Saw house will live up to those two.
