Details about Pirate League experience

We did Pirate League on the Disney Dream a few years back with my then 3 year old grandson for Pirate Night, and he loved it. Now we have it scheduled in March for my other grandson, who is also now three, since it is closing. I have read about this and it seems very similar to the ship's experience. My two questions-Our appointment is for 2, and we were hoping for a little earlier time. I have been trying to modify with no luck-since check in time is 15 minutes earlier, has anyone had any experience getting in a little earlier? With ADR's, when we check in even 30 minutes earlier, we are usually seated earlier. Would it be foolish for us to arrive 30 minutes earlier than our appointment? Also, I have seen something mentioned about a "pirate parade." Any experience with what this is? A solo march around Adventureland? THanks for those with experience responding-

You could try to check in early and see if they have any availability to take your grandson early but I wouldn't count on it. Both times when we checked in the 15 mins we had to wait outside for 10-15 mins for their seats to open up. We haven't done a pirate parade.

We did this last trip and will for our upcoming trip. No one ever mentioned and we did not see a pirate parade. We did see Captain Jack's pirate tutorial and DS got picked from the crowd. Don't know if that had anything to do with it or not.
