Today was a large pile of papers that had to be sorted and either filed or recycled.

My new mantra is: "I will keep up, I will keep up, I will keep up..."

Worked on decluttering 3 times this week.

Highlight was getting a ton of cardboard boxes broken down and out for recycling.

I read through the entire thread - very inspiring! I tip my hat to those who are counting as they go!

My husband and I have done three international moves in the last five years, which means three rounds of very aggressive destashing! We get better at it each time. Our last move we had it whittled down to two 45L backpacks and 11 boxes of possessions (six of which were books!).

In saying this, I still somehow have a pile of unwanted shoes under the bed, and my wardrobe is overflowing. It might not be much, but I'll be keeping myself accountable by this post!

Broken tv - going to our town waste recycling event Saturday. They don’t pick things up like that so they have scheduled drop off locations.

So glad again for this thread for motivation.
Got into the jewelry box this weekend, got rid of several costume pieces I've never worn, and never will. Also got into the closet. Threw away 2 small bags of old clothes not fit for donation, 2 old sheets, have 1 bag of my clothes for donation, and gave 2 bags of my son's outgrown clothes to the neighbor for their grandson. Next hope to go through some of the kids' books.
also going through work papers, and shredding as much as possible. Trying to get in the habit to not think I need all this paper. Very hard for an old librarian, ha!

Didn’t do much because another son was quarantined here with covid but he’s gone now.

Box of Kcups donated because Dh didn’t like the flavor

Not a lot this month but some small areas/things cleaned up!

7 expired food from pantry - trashed
4 expired food items from the fridge - trashed
5 expired food/freezer burned food from chest freezer - trashed
1 dried up small contain of joint compound - trashed
1 broken bucket from basement - trashed

1 laptop - recycled
1 laptop charger - recycled

40 pieces of various scrap metal from previous reno projects - set to curb for pick up

60 Items left this month
122 of 500 items or 31% of goal

Have been rather neglecting this project lately, but four items went in the donation box this week.

Glad to see others have been making better progress than I have! Since I last updated, I made 1 trip to the “free house” & Goodwill.
