Hi Everyone:

Just wondering if there are any desserts on the Room Service menu? If not, can you get your dessert to go while eatting in one of the restaurants for dinner or lunch?

Thanks,

Wendy

There is a limited dessert selection on the Room Service menu. A "cake of the day" and chocolate chip cookies.

They have an Giant Island cookie (i think that was the name) and i was soo happy because i wanted this big cookie. When the plate came with the cookies i was like ummmm. The cookies weren't that big at all, think regular chocolate chip cookies.

I took a lot of ribbing for this. I had told everyone in our group about these wonderful, huge cookies I had read about, and everyone ordered them one night. All I can say is, "think regular chocolate chip cookies" (but maybe a little burned)... maybe it was a bad night?

Don't forget they have the dessert buffet one night on the ship. On the Western, it was the night we were in cozumel. Did not get anything as I was too stuffed from dinner still, but the homemade crepes looked good!!!!!!!!!

Burned chocolate chip cookies!! :earseek:

That does not sound too good, especially after the wonderful
'Creme Brulee Cheesecake' we had today for my father's 86th BD celebration :teeth:

'Creme Brulee Cheesecake' Oh, 4nana, you HAVE to tell me where you got that or the recipe...those are my two favorite desserts and to compine them into one...I'd be in heaven! Please, please, please?! *on my knees begging* :earseek:

Just had to put in a good word for those chocolate chip cookies! Dylan'smom must have gotten them on a bad night, because all the cookies we had (and we had a LOT) were wonderful! We got hooked on them when we found them at Scoops one afternoon, and ordered them from room service the next day when they weren't available at Scoops. We even got fresh-out-of-the oven ones during the galley tour, where we learned that they bake 2,700 of them a day!

PS: If you're planning on going to the dessert buffet, GO EARLY! We showed up for the 11 to midnight buffet a few minutes around 11:15 and the line was REALLY long... we decided not to wait, but the plates we saw people carrying out were filled with what looked like incredibly yummy treats!
