Desserts?

Do milkshakes count as a dessert if you have the dining plan or is that an out of pocket thing?

I do believe they are always a dessert option, when available. From what I have read, sometimes they are considered a beverage.

just ask...we have had the milkshake as our DDP beverage at The Wave; also fruit smoothies at Le Cellier. Other people have mentioned the milkshakes as drink at other restaurants, too (I think Sci Fi Drive In was another one.)

I thought I read that somewhere but I have been reading so much on these boards lately I don't know which end is up. We are literally writing out everything we would order to see if the dining plan is worth the money or not.

We were told that Adults could get Milkshakes as a drink option but children had to use dessert at Sci-Fi.

WCC also allows Milkshakes as drink.

Kona Cafe allowed Adults a smoothie-not sure if we asked about the kids.

We've gotten milk shakes or smoothies as our beverage at WCC, the Wave, 50's Prime Time, Sci-Fi, and Konas (as well as at the old Concourse Steak House). We've never ordered them for dessert, so I don't know about that. Sorry!
