Desserts with no reservation

Is it possible to get into or order just desserts from cafe orleans or blue bayou? Just saw the foodie guide and I wanna try the creme brûlée but getting reservations is going to be a challenge.

Plaza Inn is a buffeteria, you can walk in and order a slice of cake. It isn't table service like Cafe Orleans and Blue Bayou.

There is excellent creme brulee at hearthstone Lodge in the Grand lobby if you can't satisfy your craving in the park.

Was just going to say this. Nothing at the Blue Bayou is worth going out of your way for. The one time I had creme brulee there, it tasted like scrambled egg. It was overcooked and the consistency of flan.

Oh, thanks!!! I didn't realize Hearthstone Lounge had creme brulee (or desserts at all)! We used to love to go to Napa Rose lounge for dessert and coffee and sit by the fireplace, but that's no longer an option

Hearthstone's cheesecake is good as well - I got that a couple nights ago, with a lemon drop martini.

This was my first time getting it. The online menu said it was berry something, but I didn't verify and it ended up being pumpkin. It was still good!

Yes to the cheesecake at Hearthstone! It's always great. We had a raspberry lemon version in July.

Plaza Inn seems never busy, We usually split a meal so prices are not bad either
