I enjoy trying a wide variety of meals through out my WDW vacation. But, the best part is always dessert with maybe some coffee. Is it possible to go for dessert and coffee only. Heres where I'm thinking:

BISTRO DE PARIS- Warm Grand-Marnier Souffle
CALIFORNIA GRILL- Trio of Creme Brulee
CITRICO'S- Green Apple Gateau

I know what you mean, I don' know if we'll have time to eat at Flying Fish but I'm dying to try the Banana Napoleon.

Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop at Downtown Disney my favorite for desert and coffee.

How about a "Kitchen Sink" sundae at Beaches N' Cream at the Beach Club? :smooth:

Good question. There are places I'd love to have dessert but might not want a full dinner there. Do they frown on (later in the evening) guests asking for a table to only order dessert and a cordial/ glass of wine etc.? I suppose it depends on how busy the restaurant is at that time. Correct? Thanks for any input.

I'm curious to know if you would still need a PS if you only planned to eat dessert :p

I know it's not really the same but I've got a PS before now at Sci-Fi and just ordered dessert.

Like any other restaurant anywhere, I'm sure it depends on how busy they are. It's better to fill an empty table with dessert & coffee customers than to leave it empty. The server might be annoyed to have a small ticket table, but those are the breaks. Just like non-drinking parties, a small ticket.

Yes, you do need a PS even if you're going for dessert only. That's assuming, of course, that you're going at a time that a PS is necessary. If you want to be assured of seating, get the PS.
