Anyone know what kind of desserts they have here? We have ADR's for my Mom's birthday. If they have some good desserts, I won't bother with a cake since it's just the 2 of us and I think that might be a bit of a waste :confused3

TIA :wave2:

Coral Reef has the best dessert - Chocolate Wave.

Description from allears:

The Chocolate Wave - Warm dark chocolate with a white chocolate Grand Marnier center with chocolate ganache and white chocolate ice cream $8.00

Here's the complete dessert menu in case you prefer something else:

The Chocolate Wave - Warm dark chocolate with a white chocolate Grand Marnier center with chocolate ganache and white chocolate ice cream $8.00

California Gold (Tribute to the Happiest Celebration on Earth!) - California Orange Pudding surrounded by vanilla sponge cake topped with whipped cream and orange zest $8.00

Bermuda Triangle - Coconut-banana bread pudding with banana ice cream and drizzled with a caramel sauce $7.00

Key Lime Brulee - Key Lime Cream with Blood Orange Sauce $8.00

Chocolate Adrift - Frozen chocolate malt mousse raft and white chocolate oars $7.00

We spent 9 nights on the dining plan in January. Out of all of our TS meals, we thought that the desserts at Coral Reef were the best! DH had the Chocolate Wave and I had the Chocolate Adrift. DH is not much of a chocoholic (I am though!) and he barely let me get a bite of the Chocolate Wave. It was very, very good!!! I also loved my dessert, but his was incredible.

We celebrated my husband's b-day at Coral Reef in Feb. and they did some extras for free. I told the CM when making my ADR and she put it on the reservation then call the restaurant, (you can get the direct number from CM at ADR) and tell them you are celebrating a birthday. They printed a special menu for him celebrating his day, decorated the table and then he got the Chocolate wave and they make a seperate piece of chocolate with Happy Birthday -----! on it. Enough attention to make him feel special with embarassing him.

My mom had the Key Lime Pie which she said was excellent.

Email me privately and I can send you pictures.

The way I remember, Coral Reef not only had yummy desserts, but each was a work of art.
