I have one quick question. Will my 16 year old sister be allowed to order desserts that are marked as "containing alcohol"? For instance, the Chocolate Wave at Coral Reef.

Yes. I'm a former pastry chef and most of the desserts that contain alcohol contain a minute amount per serving, or in the process of production the alcohol was cooked out and only the flavor remains.

now thats a good point....
The way I see it is if the dessert has been cooked with the alcohol then it will not be alcoholic as it would have burnt off, but if its been added after or its not a cooked dessert then I suppose not. Not sure what the chocolate wave is but it sort of sounds like a mousse of some description (but just guessing at that). Sounds nice tho!! :confused3

Oh, just saw the pp has answered at the same time at me....there you go then...sorted.. :) I want one now...!!!

Yes my 16 year old sister ordered the chocolate wave last year!
