Desserts at flying fish

This is one of the few places I can say the following at WDW: All of them, LOL.
Now looking at the current list I noticed I've never tried the cheese and honey plate but there's only tomorrow.
I generally order either the panna cotta or sea shell dessert which is a work of art that's incredibly tasty.
I frequently think this restaurant's pastry chef should give lessons to most of the other restaurants at WDW on how to make a meal's end not only pretty but delicious.

I'm the opposite of PP. I wasn't thrilled with our desserts at FF. I would rather save my appetite and head to Ample Hills after dinner.

The cheese plate there is outstanding. Which choose that for dessert rather than as the appetizer.

I'm not a "sweets person" and rarely order dessert but have enjoyed both the Cocoa Breach and the Blueberries, Limes & Seashells desserts. I don't think I would have ordered either on my own based on the descriptions but the bartender each time convinced me to give them a try and I remember really liking each.

Cocoa Breach: Vanilla Custard, Milk Chocolate Bavarois, Feuilletine Crunch

Blueberries, Limes & Seashells: Mascarpone Cream, Blueberry-Lime Compote, Hibiscus Meringue, Rye Bourbon Caramel

Totally agree. Then again I wasn't overly thrilled with FF at all.

They used to offer a cheese and honey plate on the appetizer portion of the menu and now there is only the dessert version. We will be back next trip and I think I'll order the cheese and honey since DGD, is no longer cheese adverse. It should work out fine since the three of us share dishes.

Last time I was there I tried the Coco Breach... first few bites were divine, but then it was so rich it was challenging to finish.

I consider it a dessert but it's actually an alcohol drink LOL The peanut butter alcohol drink there is so amazing. I loved it so much, I tried to recreate it at home, which is SOOO fabulous LOL
