I thought I saw a thread on this a while back, but now I can't find it, and I'm having trouble with the search feature:rolleyes:

I don't see any desserts listed on the dinner menu here on the DIS or the menu from Deb's site.

Can anyone recommend any good desserts to top off my dinner at CRT?

TIA for your reply:)

We had dinner there in May and were disappointed with the dessert choices. They had a tray to choose from, which maybe why they don't list a menu. I choose a rum cheesecake, it was just OK. I think I remember the choices being better the year before, so they may alternate the choices.

I'm usually too full for dessert, so I was considering holding off on coffee & dessert until later at Kona Cafe.

However, if there was something spectacular on Cindy's dessert menu, I would try to find the room;)

Any other replies? (good or bad)

There's so many rave reviews of Cindy's, I thought for sure I'd get more feedback on the desserts.

Anyone?

I asked this a few weeks ago, and didn't get much response...which led me to believe there wasn't anything to write home about....I'm not getting my hopes up, if you know what I mean.

Looks like I'd better stick with my plan for the Kona Cafe. Everyone says their desserts are to die for, and I'll probably be ready for dessert by then.

I've been there 4 tmes, and never miss dessert (sweet tooth). First time I had some good ice cream with hot fudge and a chocolate crown. Second time it wasn't offered, but I asked and was told it's usually a birthday special but available on request. Last year, I had a very rich chocolate cake-type dessert. Last time, the server recommended an apple cobbler, warm, with walnuts and caramel. Very good!

In August we ate lunch at Cindy's and had the apple cobbler for dessert. It was REALLY good!! I'd definatley get it again!

I had that same chocolate cake last Sept. It was very good. I think that the desserts choices are limited, and so are the dinner selcetions. I really enjoyed my meal here. The last time that we had dinner here before our last trip was on our honeymoon in 95! DD really wanted to eat in the castle (she became princess crazy on that trip). The food and atmosphere was wonderful.

hmmmm....apple cobbler...not the sort of dessert I usually order (I usually go straight for the chocolate, lol;) )

I've had breakfast in the castle before, and am looking forward to dinner there... either Major Domo's pie (if they have it at dinner) or the beef tenderloin.

I guess it'll all boil down to how full I am at the end of the meal.

Thank you all so very much for responding.:earsgirl:
