Desserts at Alfredo's

Hi all,

In November we're eating one of our TS meals at Alfredo's... I'm a little confused - do they have their own dessert menu in the restaurant or do their desserts come from Pasticceria Italiana di Alfredo di Roma? Any help you could provide will be appreciated!

I was just there and they offered a chocolate hazelnut torte, cannoli, ice cream w/fruit, and some strawberry mousse dessert that was shaped like a lady bug. There might be more, but that is all I remember. The children can only get chocolate mousse. The cannolis are very good.

We had the sampler, it was tiramasu, a cannoli, and a little cookie, I think. All very plain and bland.

Thanks to ILVPOOH & Cass for your input! Anyone else have any thoughts about desserts from Alfredo's??? We're using the DDP in November - so will that make a difference to what we are offered as dessert?

I am glad you posted. I wasn't able to find desserts listed on the menus that I had seen. Now I have some guidance.

Alfredo's also has a Lemoncello Cream dessert, which I initially thought would not be allowed on DDP, due to alcohol in Lemoncello. BUT, gleefully, I was wrong...and boy is it ever good!

When you go, ask to be seated in Alessandro's section...he's a tall guy with glasses, and is from Florence. His service was excellent last week!

The desserts we had were yummy also:

Dh had Chocolate Mousse and I had a Lemon Mousse type of dessert

Both were delicious!!!

Didn't like the lunch at all, wayyyy too expensive. But they had a fantastic cannoli. So good we went back the next day and ordered one from their kiosk. Yum!
