Dessert Top 5?

I notice none has mentioned any of the desserts at Storybook Dining, which sone of most anticipated melas mainly for the desserts and cocktails. Has anyone here tried any of them? The "Poison" Apple gets my attention...

The deserts at Storybook Dining were not that impressive in my opinion.

Bread Pudding at House of Blues
7 Layer Cake at Top of the World Lounge
Peanut Butter Pie at Contempo Cafe
Triple Chocolate Chip Salted Pecan Cookie at Kringla Bakery
Bread Pudding from Raglan Road

I echo a lot of these. I have a huge sweet tooth.

1) Sundaes from Beaches & Cream; can't wait to go for one of the shakes w/ the 50th cake on top
2) Gideon's - I've tried the cookies and like them. Reminded me of Levain Bakery in NYC. Want to go back this time to try the cakes.
3) Sprinkles in DS - Their custom flavors are really fantastic & I like these cupcakes a lot better than the ones sold in Disney parks & resorts
4) Anything in Les Halles
5) Anything in the Werthers location in Germany pavilion
6) Anything at Sleepy Hollow

Not on this particular list because I haven't tried it yet, but looking forward to trying the 50th mini cake this time around at Amorette's.

I would have said the carrot cake cookie at Writer's Stop (now Trolley Car/Starbucks), but they changed the recipe a few yrs ago and the texture is just plain off.

1. Vanilla and Citrus Crème Brûlée at Topolino's Terrace
2. Sticky Toffee Pudding at Rose & Crown Dining Room (this might tie for #1)
3. Dessert Trio at Be Our Guest
4. Twelve-Layer Chocolate Cake at Ale & Compass or Ohana's Bread Pudding
5. Butterscotch Pudding at the Disney Enchantment Treats & Seats Fireworks Dessert Party

1) France- all their macaroons , ice cream martini
2) Germany - anything from Karmel Kuchen - Cookies, bars, chocolate covered caramel apples
3) Gideons Bakehouse- Cookies and surprisingly their cakes are even better
4) Hummingbird cake at Homecoming
5) Boma- Dessert buffet
Where is Gideons Bakehouse located?

Love sprinkles. I agree, definitely better than those at the Disney parks and resorts.

I forgot about Karmel Kuchen. We usually get the popcorn there. The cookies and candies are good as well.

1. Gingerbread sandwich cookie (Karmel Kuchen in EPCOT) Sadly I think this is only available at Christmas?
2. Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake (Liberty Tree Tavern)
3. Cookie Vom Krampus (Gideon's Bakehouse)
4. Mickey Caramel Apple (MK or Candy Cauldron)
5. 50th Anniversary Tart (Animal Kingdom Lodge) Not sure if this is available anywhere else?

1. Haunted Mansion peanut butter tart (MNSSHP) at Liberty Square Market; Mara used to carry a peanut butter tart which is similar
2. Whiskey infused Chocolate cake at Steakhouse71 (creme Brulle was good)
3. Chocolate tart at Le Petit Café (Riviera)
4. Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake at Topolinos
5. Spice cake Mousse at Sunshine seasons (Epcot) (replaced with Lemon chiffon cake)

Boma/Mara-gluten free zebra domes with a chocolate bottom (instead of cake)

Art of animation had a 50th anniversary passion fruit tart which reminded me of the old passion fruit tart at Boma (current one is too sweet).

Honey Bee-stro honey mascarpone cheesecake (Epcot food & wine festival)

Nomad Lounge’s hot/crunchy churros are on our must do list as well

Ohana bread pudding

ok those are my top 10 :)

One I’ve missed but have always wanted to try is the Poison Apple cupcake (Halloween party dessert); sunshine season had a good spice cake.

Last week, when I had the zebra domes at Mara, they had chocolate bottoms-solid discs of chocolate, no cake. At the time, I knew there was something a little different from the usual. Now I know what it was-Thanks! Actually, they did taste a little better, but then I love chocolate! I wonder if this is a permanent change, that all zebra domes are now made this way.

Mara usually has the gluten free ones next to the regular ones (need to check the label). You probably just picked the gluten free ones.

It's tough to rank them, but my favorites are:

Cheshire Tails - Cheshire Cafe, Fantasyland, MK
School Bread - Kringla Og Bakeri, Norway, World Showcase, EP
I Lava You Float - Sunshine Tree Terrace, Adventureland, MK
LeFou's Brew - Gaston's Tavern, Fantasyland, MK
Pongu Lumpia - Pongu Pongu, Pandora, AK
