what exactky is the wishes dessert party. for anyone who has done it is it worth the $$ and is there enough selection. TIA

We did the dessert party last November. You get a reserved table in the Tommorrowland Noodle Station with all you can eat desserts and a spot to watch the fireworks away from the crowds. There is also a photopass photographer taking pictures with the castle in the background. The desserts were good but not the best. (you can find a list of dessert offerings at allears.net or themouseforless.com) Cast members did a good job of keeping them refilled until the fireworks started. The fireworks were beautiful from the Noodle Station and Tinkerbell flew over where we were standing. We all enjoyed every minute of it.

Although we had a great time, I don't know if it is something we would do again. Since they have gone up on the price, I personally have a hard time paying that much for a dessert buffet. Add a few more dollars to it and you could go have breakfast with some of the characters.

We did the Wishes dessert party in April and thought it was definitely worth it.

We had our 2 yr old with us and to have a great spot to view the fireworks without having to worry about claiming a spot ahead of time was the main reason we did it. The desserts were a bonus! =)

Have fun!

We took all our children and grandchildren to the Wishes Dessert Party in August 2009. We all loved it. There were 10 of us and no one had anything bad to say. The selection was amazing. Our grandkids found their favorites and probably had 10 of each. We were celebrating a birthday and the CM's came out and sang. All in all I think it was one of the best experiences of our entire trip. A year later the kids and grandkids are still talking about it. We're going back (just the 2 of us) in January and are really disappointed that it's the wrong season so we won't be able to go again. Guess they don't have the Desserts party in the winter. Like others said, the view of the fireworks is great too!

We did it in Sept 2009 and we're doing it again on Christmas night 2010. There was a wonderful selection of goodies, including fresh fruit. There really was something for everybody and every taste. My Dh isn't a big chocolate eater, but he had a huge varity to choose from.

Now, the drink selection wasn't very good, they had lemonade which was awful, water, and coffee. Since we are going in Dec, the coffee might be good, but it wasn't in Sept (at least not for me).

We did it for the first, and last time, last week. Our biggest problem was we left almost full plates of food and fewly filled glasses of drinks on a our table to go see the fireworks at the railing. When it was over, we turned around to our table, and everything had been cleaned off. A CM looked at our faces and asked what was wrong? We asked where everything was that was on our table? She said they cleaned it off because they wanted to go home. Although all the desserts were put away, the drinks and glasses were still out. I asked if I could at least get another glass of ice tea? She said no because they wanted to go home.

So in our case, it was not worth the price. This was our experience.

Went last August, this past May and again in 2 weeks. It was worth it IMHO. The show will go on if it rains. Found that out last August and Tinkerbell didn't fly. The prices did go up a few dollars but I didn't mind. The drink selection is limited but I made some half and halves. Half Ice Tea and Half Lemonade. YUM.
