for those who have had dessert parties or are having dessert parties at epcot for illuminations were you able to add additional items to your dessert menu? we like the child in you menu but would like to add bride & groom strawberries, plain chocolate chip cookies, caramel apples & cocoa. can this be done to a base menu?

second question, what kind of decoration did you have at the dessert party for your tables, etc? did you have mini centerpieces or candles? did you/are you going to upgrade the linens?

We are going to add as well. I am not sure how much it will cost, but I think we are going to price that out in December. In addition, I am having the decorations that we use for the reception transferred over to use as decorations for illuminations. We are have a buffet lunch/brunch so that should work out the best for us.

Instead of using the items on the dessert party menus, we are having things like berries, tiramisu, and bride/groom strawberries. I think I was quoted $25/pp.

We are having our rehearsal dinner at the Lower UK. We didn't add anything to the dessert party package we chose, but we did add decorations. We are adding table lanterns that have candles in them. We were told that votives would not work well on Lower Uk, you are right near the water and they blow out pretty easily. We are paying $125 to rent 6 lanterns, including the candles, through Disney floral.

Has anyone had a Wishes Desert Party at the Grand Floridian Marina? I have heard that this is an option, but can't find any information on it? We are coming up on 90 days for DD's wedding & need to book if this is an option.

This sounds interesting! I think Janet2K did this dessert party as a part of a party she held at GF last year.
