So I am beginning to think I might want to do a dessert party in the evening for wishes at Sago Cay Point or the Marina Terrace anyone that has done this or is going to do this. What is the dessert party going to run you or how much did it cost? I am trying to get an estimate.

We're doing a dessert party at Sago Cay. Our desserts are $30/pp for cookies, brownies, root beer floats, make-your-own-sundaes, and miniature napoleons. We are also piping in the Wishes music for $495. There is a $75 set up fee as well. (We also added dessert party photography through Disney so it could apply to our minimum, and that was $350.)

The cost will depend a lot on how many people you have, because many of the charges are per head.

We're doing ours in Epcot, UK. There's an $85 set up fee, a $12.95 viewing fee per guest, and then a per head charge for whatever buffet you choose....we picked the middle of the road one at $25/pp but we're probably going to cut out a few of the desserts in it to bring down the food cost. You can also add on optional bar service.

We went really low on the decor, doing standard black linens, and a gel light cylinder for each highboy table, which are about $17 a piece.

You'll also have to account for whether you're going to transport your guests there. We have two motorcoaches so we added on the extra hours to cover the dessert party time - according to my BEO they're $101.85 an hour. (It's a 5 hr minimum on the coaches.)

HTH! :goodvibes
