The dessert party opens one hour before the Fireworks. A line forms before that. Don't worry about your check in time, they take people by the order they are lined up outside the party area.

I suggest making sure everyone has been to the bathroom and you are lined up before the hour before the fireworks.

Hi-
I just got a reservation for the 24th, so try calling back and talking to a different CM.

One odd thing though, the CM said gratuity was not included, I thought it was last year, I could be mistaken though, it was a very long and dramatic trip and my memory maybe fuzzy. No big deal if it isn't I just want to be sure to tip if it is not.

My CM was obviously reading from some notes. She said, "The price does not include gratuity. However, no gratuity is expected."

Having gone last year, I don't know who or when you would tip anyway?? There were people at the entrance letting us in. And there were people who were carrying in new trays of food. But you don't really have a waiter or anything. And I didn't see CMs walking around. But I wasn't really looking for any. So maybe there were. And you don't get a "bill" or statement or anything at the end.

So if Wishes is at 10, then the party starts at 9, is that how it works? I'm considering booking it for November...

camlace - in October MK closes at 9 so wouldn't wishes be at 9?

Check the October times - there are a few dates when Wishes is at 10 PM.

I just have to say thanks to DISboards because I just booked 10/13 - would never have known they extended this early if not for this board!

This was DH's only request and I am so glad we got it! They told us the party starts at 8 PM for the 9 PM Wishes.

Just got off the phone again and booked for Oct 4 and was given a time of 9:10. The second time the woman still said that they were booking only through Aug 14 but I told her I read online they extended it so she checked and sure enough...The dis is never wrong!

There is a bathroom just outside the Dessert Party area. If nobody is at the table when you go to the bathroom, it will be cleared.

Yes, the party starts 1 hr before Wishes (or whatever fireworks they are showing).

Yea, my CM asked me this morning around 9am if I heard it on the DIS boards, because they are getting a lot of calls. I thought that was funny since it posted pretty late yesterday. We all sure love our desserts!!!

Just for the record, I've talked with two separate CMs today, and they both confirmed that our reservations (12/2) are standing room only! No more tables/seating.
